Beth Tikvah Congregation Founded on Faith;  Building the Future --That is our 50th Anniversary theme. 

We will be commemorating this year with many activities.  On November 17th, 2007, nationally known Broadway performer, comedian, Steve Solomon performed "The Man, The Music, and The Mishuggina" at the Prairie Center for the Performing Arts in Schaumburg.  This event was underwritten by the Damlich/Splansky Committee.  Enjoy pictures from that evening.

On November 23,2007, past Religious School students attended a Special Reunion Shabbat Service.  See who came back - many pictures to view!

January 18th and 19th is our "Jumping for JOY", Beth Tikvah's Friendraising JOYfest weekend In-town retreat at Beth Tikvah.  We will begin Friday night with Shabbat Dinner, and Saturday will be a busy JOY-filled day starting at 9:00 a.m. with a Continental Breakfast.  Various workshops and activities for all ages --about JOY--will run throughout the day.  A special mural painting will also be done in honor of our 50th Anniversary.  Havdalah plus dinner will be celebrated, and finally, we will host Judaica Rock Artist, Dan Nichols.

To continue our JOYful weekend, on January 20th, our Religious School will have a 50th Anniversary Party.

The last Friday night of each month will be a special 50th Anniversary Shabbat service.  Various members will speak about their involvement and relationship with Beth Tikvah.

Finally, culminating this wonderful year, on April 5, 2008, will be our Gala Dinner Dance at Villa Olivia.  Enjoy a 5-course meal and dance the night away with the Stuart Rosenberg Orchestra.  Our Commemorative Ad book that will include personal messages and business ads will be given out at this time.
