Meals-On-Wheels Drivers Needed
The Beth Tikvah Congregation Social Action Committee has been made aware of the following Volunteer Opportunity need in our community:
Volunteer Opportunity: Drivers are needed to deliver meals to homebound Seniors. The clients not only get a hot meal, they have someone visiting them and checking on them. For many, the Meals on Wheels driver is the only person they will see that day. If you are available during the lunchtime hours starting at 11:30 AM, please consider volunteering. The time commitment is 1-1.5 hours once a week, or every two weeks. Current needs are for drivers on all 5 days, Monday thru Friday, in Schaumburg Township and Elk Grove Township.
